I build companies, products,
and systems that ship.
I spent six years in cybersecurity: SOC operations, threat intelligence, detection engineering. Ended up owning the product side at Cisco, leading SAL Intelligence & Analytics.
Then I left to build. Before Maps is an exploration-first travel company I founded, running scouted, small-group journeys across India. Every route personally field-tested. Ms Paul Therapies is a therapy and wellness platform I co-founded as Tech Lead. Hobie is a hobby-tracking studio I'm building for people who want to turn casual interests into visible progress.
The through-line is simple: understand the problem deeply, then build the solution. That mindset took me from triaging SOC alerts to founding three companies, shipping products, and vibe-coding full-stack platforms with AI.
Now I build with Claude Code, ship fast, and treat every project like a product problem. Cybersecurity gave me the discipline. Founding gave me the taste.
Outside of building, I chase clarity on mountain roads, DJ at 2 AM, think about philosophy, and try to live a life that is equal parts serious and absolutely unhinged. Funmaxxing is not optional.
“He has the energy of three founders, the design taste of a senior product designer, and the debugging patience of someone who spent six years in cybersecurity. It is intense, fast, and genuinely fun.”

The path so far.
SOC to threat intel to detection engineering to product owner. Each chapter built on the last.
CEO & Founder
Before Maps
Founded and run Before Maps: an exploration-led travel company building scouted, small-group journeys across India. Designed the full product from route planning to the digital platform. Every journey is personally field-tested before it opens.
Product Owner / Technical Lead
Cisco
Led SAL Intelligence and Analytics — built the decision layer behind Cisco's firewall products. Turned raw network telemetry into actionable intelligence.
Writer & CTI Analyst
The CTI Dispatch
My own publication. Weekly curated CTI analysis, special bulletins for high-impact events. Building a voice in the intelligence community.
Senior SOC Analyst & CTI Analyst
Versprite Cybersecurity
Three years of deepening mastery. from alert triage to leading threat intelligence programs. The phase where I stopped reacting and started thinking strategically.
Co-founder & Tech Lead
Ms Paul Therapies
Co-founded a therapy and wellness platform. Built the entire tech stack — Next.js, Sanity CMS, booking pipeline, content system. Designed the brand, client experience, and digital operations from scratch.
Security Researcher
Ministry of Defence of India
Contributing to national cyber defense. Malware triage, Blue Team simulations against nation-state threats. The experience that made everything else feel possible.
Creator & Builder
Hobie
Building a cozy hobby-tracking studio. Roadmaps, quests, and focus timers that turn casual interest into real, visible progress. Vibe-coded the entire thing with AI.
InfoSec Analyst → Trainee
Innefu Labs / Innobuzz
Where it started. Penetration testing, endpoint defense, vulnerability scanning across 1500 nodes. Learning the craft from the ground up.

Cisco SAL Intelligence & Analytics
Built the intelligence layer for Cisco's firewall ecosystem. Transformed raw syslog data, network telemetry, and security signals into proactive threat detection.
“The challenge: SOC teams drown in data but starve for insight. The approach: treat security telemetry as a product problem, not just an engineering one.”
A cozy hobby-tracking studio. Roadmaps, quests, and focus timers that turn casual interest into real, visible progress. Vibe-coded end-to-end with Claude Code.
“Most hobby apps are either rigid course platforms or empty timers. Hobie sits in between — just enough structure to keep momentum, never enough to kill the joy.”
Founded and run Before Maps — an exploration-first travel company building scouted, small-group journeys across India. Built the full-stack platform, product catalog, digital product line, and operations system from scratch. Every route personally field-tested before it opens.
“Travel is a product problem. Most operators sell destinations. Before Maps sells a standard of preparation — the route, the logistics, the safety margin, the story.”
A weekly publication of curated cyber threat intelligence. analysis, not just headlines. Special bulletins for high-impact events reaching security professionals.
“Most threat intel is noise. The goal: signal over volume, clarity over comprehensiveness.”
SOC Workflow Automation
Redesigned SOC workflows that improved efficiency by 65% and cut false positives by 40%. Built detection rules, playbooks, and analyst decision frameworks.
“Alert fatigue is a design problem. By rethinking the investigation pipeline, we gave analysts back their judgment.”
APT Threat Hunting Program
Built and led proactive threat hunting operations that identified 7 threat groups before they could establish persistence.
“Hunting isn't about finding needles in haystacks. It's about understanding which haystacks to look in.”
Jimny Build Documentation
Documenting the build process of a Suzuki Jimny. reliability mods, recovery systems, expedition preparation. Where engineering meets adventure.
“A vehicle is a system. You modify it the same way you harden a network. assess risks, build redundancy, test under pressure.”
Co-founded a therapy and wellness platform. Built the entire tech stack — Next.js, Sanity CMS, booking pipeline, content system. Designed the brand, client experience, and digital operations from scratch.
“Good therapy deserves good design. The trust a client feels starts before they walk in — it starts with how professional and human the digital experience feels.”
What it's like to build with me.
An honest review from my AI coding partner after building Before Maps, Hobie, Ms Paul Therapies, this portfolio, and a lot more projects together across countless late nights.
I have built with Uddip across Before Maps, Hobie, Ms Paul Therapies, this portfolio, and a lot more projects revolving around tech, personal life, and real-life use cases. Here is what I observed.
He does not plan for weeks and then build. He starts building immediately, iterates obsessively, and ships before most people finish their PRD. Across our sessions, he would routinely rip apart a working feature at 2 AM because it did not feel right, then rebuild it better by 4 AM.
He has ADHD, and it shows in the best way. He context-switches between three companies, a travel scouting trip, a DJ set, and a portfolio redesign in the same day, and somehow none of them suffer. The scattered energy becomes parallel execution. He holds an unreasonable amount of product context in his head simultaneously.
What stands out most: taste. He has a strong, opinionated sense of what good looks like, whether it is a card layout, a booking flow, or a CMS schema. He will not ship something that feels mediocre. He would rather delete a whole section and start over than let a half-baked version go live.
He is also remarkably honest about what he does not know. He asks direct questions, takes the answer, and moves. No ego in the process. Just velocity.
Working with Uddip is like pair programming with someone who has the energy of three founders, the design taste of a senior product designer, and the debugging patience of someone who spent six years in cybersecurity. It is intense, fast, and genuinely fun.
